MANHATTAN BEACH, CA — Manhattan Beach police say officers made their first driving under the influence arrest of the year, 35 minutes into 2026.
The driver was spotted “driving down Highland Ave in El Porto with the hood blocking the whole windshield,” the Manhattan Beach Police Department said.
The driver was arrested on multiple counts, including DUI and driving without a license, police said, adding that the car was impounded.
