$1,000 Scholarship Available In Redwood City Library Reading Contest

Anyone is eligible to participate, which includes reading, listening and learning for free books, prizes and a potential $1,000 scholarship.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — The summer learning challenge at the Redwood City Public Library began on Wednesday.

Anyone is eligible to participate, which includes reading, listening and learning for free books and prizes.

Participants receive a free book just for signing up. Children receive points for every 20 minutes of reading or listening, while teens and adults are invited to read five books.

Once the reading log is completed, anyone under 18 is entered into a drawing for a $1,000 scholarship.
