Bikini-Clad Baristas In San Mateo County Vow To Cover Up
The owner of Pink Pantherz Espresso also said he would rename some of the raunchy drinks.

REDWOOD CITY, CA -- A coffee shop owner that has earned revenue from baristas serving drinks in bikinis recently promised his employees would cover up at the Redwood City location. The promise comes after more than 1,500 residents signed a petition hoping to ban Pink Pantherz Espresso, according to the San Francisco Chronicle.
"Owner Jose Carmona, who already runs three Pink Pantherz shops in Northern California, will have his employees cover up with more clothing," the Chronicle reported. "He has also changed the erotic names of the drinks, and removed the silhouette sign."

The promise means drinks such as “Bootycall” and “Panty Dropper" will be taken off the menu, the newspaper reported.
"Carmona said he will implement a new uniform — booty shorts that cover the buttocks and bikini tops that shield against underside views of breasts," the Chronicle reported. "The beverage names will change: Birthday Sex to Birthday Cake and Bootycall to Peach Call."
