Blotter: Drunk Man Locks Himself in Bathroom Stall, Refuses to Leave

Thursday, April 27

12:16 a.m. – Vandalism – A person reported vandalism but was being very uncooperative and irate. Belmont police were also on the scene.

1:50 a.m. – Suspicious Circumstances – A woman requested that police drive by because her dog was barking, and she was concerned because she recently obtained a restraining order against a man in her building.

9:12 a.m. – Occupied Suspicious Vehicle – A man reported that a man and woman living in a vehicle on Duane Street were defecating on his property and smoking pot.

6:04 p.m. – Disturbance – An employee and three female customers were in a verbal dispute over change owed.

9:56 p.m. – Suspicious Person – A group of 12 drunk juveniles left a bus on James Street.

10:01 p.m. – Assault with Deadly Weapon – A person was screaming “someone help me” on 2nd Avenue and a vehicle drove by with a male in it.

 

Saturday, April 28

2:33 p.m. – Disorderly Conduct – Public Drunkenness – A man was smoking in a business’ bathroom and locked himself in the stall.

1:37 p.m. – Traffic Hazard – A gray Mazda rolled out of its parking space and was blocking traffic on El Camino Real.

3:31 p.m. – Disturbance – A unwanted female panhandler was on El Camino Real with her child and refusing to leave.

7:12 p.m. – Suspicious Person – A woman in a shoe store had been throwing pairs of shoes on the floor for the past three hours.

10:45 p.m. – Disturbance – A man smoked and marijuana locked himself inside a bathroom and refused to come out.

 

Sunday, April 29

1:02 a.m. – Fight – A person reported that a juvenile was getting beat of by two others on Somerset Street.

3:01 p.m. – Petty Theft – A person went behind the counter and stole an item, then threatened the clerk.

6:15 p.m. – Subject with Gun – Officers stopped someone on James Street, but the weapon turned out to be a toy gun with an orange tip.

6:30 p.m. – Terrorist Threats – A person’s co-worker was sending threatening and violent text messages.

6:31 p.m. – Loud Music Complaint – Someone on Kentfield Avenue was playing loud mariachi music all afternoon.
