Driver Killed After Vehicle Goes Off Cliff In San Mateo County
This is the second incident involving a vehicle going over a cliff in San Mateo County in two days, according to Cal Fire officials.
SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A driver was killed after their vehicle went over a cliff north of Pescadero State Beach Wednesday morning.
The deceased driver was extricated from the vehicle, according to Cal Fire CZU. This is the second incident involving a vehicle going over a cliff in San Mateo County in two days.
Pictures from the scene show what appears to be the damaged car at the bottom of a cliff.

San Mateo County and the Coastside Fire departments, the San Mateo County Sheriff, the California State Parks department and the California Highway Patrol responded to the incident.
The CHP has taken over the case. No other information was immediately available.
