Friend Of Redwood City Public Library Celebrates 50 Years

The celebration on June 12 at the downtown library will feature a special sale of all books available for 50 cents.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Friends of the Redwood City Public Library will hold a celebration on June 12 in honor of its 50th anniversary at the downtown library.

The celebration will feature a special sale of all books available for 50 cents, along with a raffle for gift certificates and honey. There will also be carnival games, crafts and an obstacle course.

The Youth Services department will also join to kick off the Summer Learning Challenge, the largest program that the group funds each year.
