Hide the Car Keys....Wednesday is Walk to School Day
On Wednesday, students and their families are encouraged to join 5,000 schools nationwide, and 40 countries around the world in walking to school.

These days, walking to school has become something of a rarity—between busy schedules, traffic-clogged roadways, heavy backpacks and worried parents, kids usually jump in the car for a ride to school.
But on Wednesday, Oct. 9, Redwood City 2020, in collaboration with the Redwood City School District, will be joining schools from around the world to celebrate International Walk to School Day.
