The company has been looking for a new headquarters since 2020 when it doubled its workforce, The Real Deal reported. It considered other options in the Bay Area, including San Carlos, but appears to be staying in its home city.

Impossible Foods’ new headquarters will also be near the site of an 8.3-acre mixed-use development site recently purchased by the life science real estate development company IQHQ, which has plans to turn it into a large-scale office and life science development site.
