Chocolate FestChocolate candy, ice cream, cookie and dessert makers from the Peninsula and the entire Bay Area will offer their chocolate wares for tasting Oct. 4 and 5 at the 31st annual Chocolate Fest, sponsored by the Congregational Church of Belmont.
The tastings will be:
- Session 1, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4
- Session 2, from 1:30 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5
- Session 3, from 7:30 to 10 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5.

Peninsula Italian American Social Club Bocce Ball TournamentJoin Redwood City Mayor Alicia Aguirre, Honoree Maureen Freschet, and the Peninsula Italian American Social Club for a little bocce! Water-Efficient Landscaping Class
Bay Area Water Supply and Conservation Agency (BAWSCA), Redwood City's local water agency, will team up with the city's Public Works Dept. to offer free water-efficient landscaping classes in RWC's new demonstration garden. The focus on irrigation; how to install and maintain an irrigation system.

A free annual celebration of Redwood City's deepwater shipping port and recreational access to the S.F. Bay on the 1st Saturday of October, brought to you by the Port of Redwood City and Peninsula Youth Sailing Foundation.

Olive FestThe classic rock riffs of Santana, Styx, Heart, and Fleetwood Mac will echo through the olive orchards at the 16th annual Arts & Olive Festival at Cañada College.
The festival will be held from 10 am to 5 pm, Sunday, Oct. 6 on the college grounds, 4200 Farm Hill Blvd., Redwood City.
Save the Music: School-Force Fundrasier for Belmont-Redwood Shores School DistrictThis Sunday, the Save the Music Fest will showcase top tribute bands, jazz & blues, school musicians and the Battle of the Marching Bands. Presented by Oracle and KFOX and benefiting School-Force.
