Man Assaulted, Robbed Near Redwood City Early Sunday Morning

NORTH FAIR OAKS, CA — The San Mateo County Sheriff’s office is searching for a suspect who assaulted and robbed a man in North Fair Oaks — an unincorporated area near Redwood City — early Sunday morning.

Deputies found a man with lacerations and abrasions to his face at the 700 block of Fourth Avenue around 2:30 a.m., and reported that his personal belongings had been taken.

The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
