Manual Recount Begins For Woodside Land Use Measure A
The measure, which allows for more parking access, narrowly passed by five votes in the Nov. 2 Special Election.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Woodside’s Measure A, which passed by five votes in the Nov. 2 Special Election, is headed for a manual recount, the San Mateo County Registration and Elections Division announced Monday.
The land use measure would adopt an initiative that allows for parking access on residential areas for the promotion of arts and culture.
The election results were certified with 1,160 votes in support and 1,155 votes against. The initial results were certified Nov. 19 following a One Percent Manual Tally.

A registered voter from the town of Woodside filed a request for a manual recount.
The recount will begin Wednesday at 8.am. at the Registration and Elections Division at 40 Tower Road in San Mateo, and is open to the public for observation.
