Peninsula Motorcyclist Injured In Collision With Deer

The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital and treated for his injuries, according to Cal Fire Battalion Chief Tim Shiffer.

SAN MATEO COUNTY, CA — A motorcyclist was injured late Saturday afternoon after striking a deer on Highway 35 in San Mateo County.

A spokesperson for Cal Fire said Saturday evening that the motorcyclist was thrown from his vehicle after hitting the deer on Skyline Boulevard, which is also Highway 35, between Highways 84 and 92.

San Mateo County firefighters responded to the emergency.
