Person Injured In Peninsula Fire Tuesday Night

The blaze broke out at 11:27 p.m. on Pine Street in Redwood City, sending the person to the hospital.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — At least one person was injured following a 1-alarm fire that started late Tuesday night, according to fire officials.

The blaze was first reported at 11:27 p.m. in the 100 block of Pine Street near Shasta Street, fire officials said. The victim was transported to Stanford Hospital. The severity of their injuries wasn't provided.

Fire officials said crews remained on the scene early Wednesday morning investigating and overhauling the scene. Residents are advised to avoid the area.
