REDWOOD CITY, CA — Middlefield Road in Redwood City between Beech Street and Cassia Streets was closed on Monday morning due to a fire investigation, according to the Redwood City Police Department.

Drivers were asked to use an alternate route. The police issued the alert at 9 a.m.

The roads was reopened around 11:20 a.m..
