Portola Valley Power Restored After Outage Affects 1,000 Customers

Portola Valley, CA — Pacific Gas & Electric is reporting on their outage map that 1,236 customers in Portola Valley are without power this afternoon.

The outage started around 5:21 p.m. on Sunday. PG&E estimates the power will be restored by about 1:30 p.m. The cause of the power outage is not known. No other information is available.

Included in this area is the Windy Hill Preserve where the search continues for Margaret “Elaine” McKinley, 79, of Redwood City, who was last seen hiking there on May 1, police said. It is unknown at this time if the outage is affecting search efforts.
