Redwood City Man Killed In Vallejo Traffic Collision: Police

The driver of the vehicle, who was going southbound on Sonoma Boulevard, remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.

VALLEJO, CA — A Redwood City man was struck and killed in a traffic collision in Vallejo on Tuesday morning.

The 26-year-old man, who Vallejo police didn’t name pending notification of next of kin but identified as unsheltered, was found lying in the roadway in the area of Sonoma Boulevard and Lewis Brown Road around 5:15 a.m. Vallejo Fire personnel pronounced the man deceased at the scene.

The driver of the vehicle, who was going southbound on Sonoma Boulevard, remained on scene and cooperated with the investigation.

Drugs or alcohol did not appear to be a factor in the incident.
