We are the only organization that delivers essential services and personalized support to connect the people living in poverty among us to the full range of resources and services they need. Over recent years, more and more families in San Mateo County have been thrust into poverty. From the COVID-19 pandemic, to increasing wealth inequality, to the impacts of inflation and the housing crisis, the financial pressures on our neighbors have grown. Located at Courthouse Square (2200 Broadway) next to the San Mateo County History Museum, the screenings will include a mix of family movies, feature films and independent film shorts from the Bravemaker Film Festival. A limited number of chairs and tables will be available, and people are advised to bring blankets and take-out food from nearby restaurants.
