Redwood City School Calendar 2019-20: First Day Of School Plus

REDWOOD CITY, CA — The Redwood City School District will welcome students back to school on Aug. 19 in either a date to dread or one to look forward to.

Either way, it's a traditional date that's instrumental in a child's development.

Teachers will report in three days prior.

There is no school for students on Sept. 2 for the Labor Day holiday. Other significant dates include:

• Teacher work day on Aug. 16
• Veterans Day on Nov. 11
• Thanksgiving holiday on Nov. 28-29
• Winter break on Dec. 20 through Jan. 7
• Spring break on April 6 through 10
• Last day of school on June 5
