Redwood City Seeks Public Input On Future Walking Path, Bike Trail
The trail would add a one mile-exercise loop near downtown.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — Redwood City is seeking public input on how a walking path and bike trail along Redwood Creek should be designed at a workshop on Saturday.
The trail loop, which completes the vision for a connection to the Bay Trail and a Recreational Urban Corridor, will provide a multitude of services to the community.
They include adding a one mile-exercise loop near downtown, improving visibility at creek banks and providing a future park on the waterfront at Maple Street.

The trail also will lead to access to the creek for kayaks and canoes, overlooks to view wildlife and feature interpretive exhibits.
The workshop Saturday includes a morning walking tour. It will begin outdoors at the creek, in front of the Sports Basement and takes place from 10 a.m. to noon.
