At-Risk Girl Found In Peninsula After Running Away From Home
The 15-year-old girl was reported missing Wednesday night. She was found Thursday morning in unincorporated Redwood City.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A 15-year-old girl who was reported missing Wednesday night after running away from a group home for at-risk youth in Menlo Park was located Thursday morning, according to the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
The girl, who the sheriff’s office said did not have any ties to San Mateo County, was found around 10:45 a.m. Thursday morning in unincorporated Redwood City by sheriff’s deputies with the assistance of the California Highway Patrol.
Deputies had responded to the 1800 block of Altschul Avenue in unincorporated Menlo Park around 10 p.m. Wednesday night on reports that a female juvenile had run away.
