Structure Fire Quickly Doused In Redwood City Early Monday
Firefighters responded at 5:46 a.m. to the blaze at a garage on Cleveland Street.
REDWOOD CITY, CA -- A one-alarm fire was quickly extinguished by firefighters at the detached garage of a home in Redwood City early Monday morning, a battalion chief said.
The blaze was reported at 5:46 a.m. in the 1100 block of Cleveland Street near Roosevelt Avenue. Crews extinguished the fire within a few minutes of arriving at the residence, Redwood City Fire Battalion Chief Dan Abrams said. No firefighters or residents were injured.
Investigators remained at the scene as of 8 a.m. Monday to look for the origin and possible cause of the fire, Abrams said.
