Victim Carjacked At Gunpoint In Redwood City, Man Arrested: Cops
The man was located with the stolen vehicle and taken into custody a couple of hours later, according to police.

REDWOOD CITY, CA — A man was arrested on suspicion of a carjacking at gunpoint in Redwood City on Saturday night.
Gerardo Santana, 38, was accused of forcing the victim from the vehicle with a gun at an apartment complex on Marshall Street and driving off, according to Redwood City police. The victim was a passenger in the vehicle who was waiting while the driver went into the complex, police said.
Santana was located hiding under a trailer at a homeless camp a couple hours later, after Menlo Park police found the vehicle on Haven Avenue and he fled on foot, according to police.

Santana was identified by the victim, according to police. He was charged with carjacking and possession of drug paraphernalia.
