17 Arrested In Santa Rosa In Organized Retail Theft Ahead Of Holidays
Police said arrests included felony organized retail theft, commercial burglary, theft with priors and drug-related offenses.

SANTA ROSA, CA — Seventeen people were arrested during a large-scale organized retail theft operation conducted Thursday by the Santa Rosa Police Department in partnership with the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office and several local law enforcement agencies.
The enforcement effort took place between noon and 9 p.m. in and around the Santa Rosa Marketplace and businesses along the 2600 to 2800 blocks of South Santa Rosa Avenue, according to police.
Police said arrests included felony organized retail theft, commercial burglary, theft with priors and drug-related offenses.

Officers recovered stolen merchandise such as electronics, clothing, sporting goods and toys, which were returned to retailers, when possible, Santa Rosa police said.
Additional evidence, including narcotics and burglary tools, was seized for further investigation.
