$18K Cash, Pound Of Mushrooms Seized From Suspected Drug Dealer
Detectives started investigating the 19-year-old Rohnert Park man in April, the Santa Rosa Police Department said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β A Rohnert Park man was arrested Monday as the result of an investigation by the Santa Rosa Police Department Narcotics Unit.
Detectives with the Narcotics Unit started investigating a local drug dealer in April and identified 19-year-old Rohnert Park resident Zachary Ryan Bedoya as a person suspected of distributing cocaine and psilocybin mushrooms throughout the greater Santa Rosa area, SRPD Sgt. Kevin Naugle said.
At 11:42 p.m. Monday, detectives served a search warrant on Bedoya while he was driving in the 200 block of Myrtle Avenue in Cotati. It is alleged that detectives found approximately $11,000 in U.S. currency while conducting a search of Bedoya's car pursuant to the search warrant.

A search was then conducted at Bedoya's residence in the 1000 block of Civic Center Drive in Rohnert Park. Detectives found one pound of suspected psilocybin mushrooms packaged for sale, a loaded 40-caliber Glock 22 firearm, approximately $7,000 in U.S. currency, and digital scales, Naugle said.
Bedoya was arrested and booked into Sonoma County jail on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale, transporting a controlled substance for sale, possession of a narcotic for sale, transporting a narcotic for sale, and possession of a firearm while dealing narcotics/controlled substances.

Bedoya remained in custody Tuesday night with his bail set at $350,000, jail records showed.
