2 Arrested for North Bay Shooting
BREAKING: A 21-year-old was arrested during a traffic stop, and a 15-year-old was detained at a local high school.

NORTH BAY, CA -- Police on Jan. 11 arrested two suspects in a New Year's Day shooting that took place outside a residence in the Sonoma County city of Santa Rosa.
The suspects drove past the victims' residence in the 2100 block of Gardner Avenue and returned a short time later. They parked their vehicle, approached the two victims and fired multiple shots, narrowly missing them, Santa Rosa Police Sgt. Tommy Isachsen said.
Residents who heard the gunfire gave police a description of the vehicle and suspects. Police investigated the incident and identified two suspects.

Jose Manuel De Los Santos, 21, of Santa Rosa, was arrested during a traffic stop in the 3400 block of Moorland Avenue around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday and was in the vehicle allegedly used in the shooting, Isachsen said.
De Los Santos has prior weapons and gang contacts in Santa Rosa, and was booked into Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of attempted murder and being an active participant in a gang.

A 15-year-old suspect was detained at a local high school and booked into the Sonoma County Juvenile Justice Center on suspicion of attempted murder and being an active gang participant.
Police believe the suspects targeted rival gang members and are investigating other suspects still at large, Isachsen said.
