One of the residents allegedly shot at the Cadillac and the other resident allegedly helped him conceal the handgun and the shell casings, Rodriguez said. The residents, who are convicted felons, were identified as Phillip J. Carlton, 28, and Reed R. Carman, 56, and are prohibited from carrying firearms and ammunition, Rodriguez said.
Deputies found a Glock 9mm semi-automatic handgun, ammunition and shell casings at the home, Rodriguez said. Carlton and Carman were arrested and booked in the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of conspiracy, negligent discharge of a firearm and the weapons and ammunition possession offenses.
