2 Injured In Rohnert Park Rollover Crash

ROHNERT PARK, CA — Two people were injured in a rollover collision Thursday afternoon in Rohnert Park, the city's public safety officials said. Police and firefighters were sent at 3:54 p.m. to Redwood Drive near Business Park Drive after someone reported the collision.

Two people were trapped in the overturned vehicle. Public safety officials said the pair was extricated from the vehicle and taken to a hospital.

The vehicle overturned because another vehicle hit it from behind as it was stopped at a traffic light. No other injuries were reported.

Southbound Redwood Drive was closed as emergency personnel responded and the vehicles were cleared from the road.
