$30M CA Lottery Winner Comes Forward
The ticket was sold in March, but the winner was just revealed.
COTATI, CA — The owner of a $30 million winning SuperLotto Plus ticket has finally claimed the prize after buying it from a Sonoma County gas station in March, the California Lottery announced Thursday.
Andrea Willer was the lucky lottery player who "recently came forward to claim" the estimated $30 million prize after purchasing the ticket March 5 from a 76 Gas Station off Highway 101 in Cotati, according to a news release from the California Lottery. Willer took the cash prize option, opting to receive a $14 million payout, less federal taxes.
The ticket was purchased at My Goods Market located at 8510 Gravenstein Highway in the small city just south of Rohnert Park in the North Bay.

The store that sold the winning ticket also scored from Willer's big win-- they get a bonus of $150,000, according to lottery officials.
Willer had 180 days from the date of the drawing to claim her win.

Three other lottery players won $11,609 in the same drawing, including one person who bought their ticket in Rohnert Park, one who bought theirs in El Centro and another who bought theirs in Sacramento.
