6 Injured In River Road Collision; DUI Suspected

A Clearlake man was arrested on suspicion of DUI in the four-vehicle crash.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β€” Six people were injured Monday in a collision involving four vehicles northwest of Santa Rosa, California Highway Patrol officials said. Eric Floyd, 47, of Clearlake was driving a Saturn east on River Road near Laughlin Road around 6:30 a.m. when his car drifted into the westbound lane and struck a Ford F-450 driven by a Napa man, the CHP said.

Motorists reported Floyd was driving recklessly before the collision, CHP Officer Jon Sloat said.

Both the Saturn and Ford struck a Toyota Corolla and another Toyota, and all four vehicles blocked both lanes of River Road, Sloat said.
