Big Rig Crash Blocks Highway 1 In Sonoma County
A double-tanker fuel truck overturned on the northbound highway, requiring a hazmat crew and a full highway closure.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A big rig rolled over Tuesday on state Highway 1 in coastal Sonoma County, shutting down the highway for several hours.
Just after 4:30 p.m., the double tanker crashed just north of Jenner Beach Trail at mile marker 23.02, the California Highway Patrol reported.
A hazardous materials team was called out along with a tow truck crew, and the fuel was transferred to an empty tanker truck that was sent from Richmond.
