Bodies Found In Santa Rosa Identified As Area Homeless

Two bodies found in May and June were identified by the Sonoma County Sheriff-Coroner's office as local homeless men.

SANTA ROSA, CA β€” The Sonoma County Sheriff's Office has identified the bodies of two homeless men who were found in May and June. Ray Ruben Guerra, 30, was found around 11:30 a.m. in a storm drain underneath D Street near First Street in Santa Rosa on May 14. His body was recovered two hours later and Santa Rosa police said the death appeared to be a suicide.

The body of Terry Lyn Jenkins, 63, was found by a homeless woman off the Joe Rodota Trail near Wright Road in the Roseland area around 8 p.m. on June 7.

Sheriff's Sgt. Spencer Crum said both men were homeless in Santa Rosa.
