Remains Of Missing Sonoma County Woman Annie Bailly Found; Foul Play Suspected
Two years after she went missing, the remains of missing Sonoma County woman Annie Bailly were located at a national park in Marin County.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA - More than two years after her disappearance, a Sonoma County woman's remains have been located at a national park in Marin County.
Police revealed March 14 that the remains of former Penngrove resident Annie Bailly were recovered at the Pt. Reyes National Seashore, just outside Pt. Reyes Station in February, 26 months after she was reported missing. Sonoma County Sheriffβs Violent Crimes detectives say they consider her death to be a homicide.
Bailly, who was 63 years old at the time of her reported disappearance was reported missing by her husband, Kerry Bailly, on December 7, 2014. Her car, keys and purse were left at her home.

She has been considered a missing person for the last two years, and her case has been considered suspicious. Her family had issued a $10,000 reward to help locate her.
The discovery of he body came on February 17, after motorists involved in a vehicle collision near Lagunitas Creek off Platform Bridge Road, between Sir Francis Drake Boulevard and Petaluma-Point Reyes Rd. in Marin County made the discovery of her body over an embankment. They notified the Marin County Sheriffβs Department who recovered the skeletal remains.

A forensic autopsy was completed in Marin County and, with the help of dental records, they were able to identify Baillyβs body. A cause of death has not been released at this time, however evidence suggests to detectives that Bailly was murdered, according to authorities.
Sonoma Sheriffβs Violent Crimes detectives have been working the case with the Marin County Sheriffβs Office, the FBI and also the National Park Service, due to the fact she was found in a national park.
