Cotati is a proud recipient of the 2020 GFOA Triple Crown Award! Cotati is one of only 292 government agencies across the United States and Canada, and the only city in Sonoma County to earn this recognition.
The GFOA's Triple Crown recognizes governments who have received GFOA's Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting, Popular Annual Financial Reporting Award, and the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award. The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition for governmental accounting and financial reporting, and its attainment represents a significant accomplishment by a government and its management.
