Copeland Creek Bike Path to get Major Revamp
The city of Rohnert Park is seeking bids on the reconstruction of Copeland Creek bike and walking path.

Do you walk or bike the Copeland Creek trail, that wraps around the Laguna de Santa Rosa? If you do, good news β ther city is currently seeking bidders to reconstruct the path between Commerce Boulevard and Seed Farm Drive and between Snyder Lane and Sonoma State.
The segments of the path β often frequented by dog walkers, students getting to class and bike commuters, is bumpy and unsafe, as a result of what the city calls "failed asphalt."
The reconstruction β to be carried out this summer β includes a repaving, adjustment of sewer inlets and utility covers that could disrupt walkers and bikers. Estimated cost is between $500,000 and $750,000, according to the city.
