Last Chance for 2023 Cotati Historical Society Walking Tour, Oct. 14

"Downtown, no finer place for sure, Downtown everything's waiting for you!"

The last 2023 downtown Cotati historical walking tour will be Saturday, October 14. Learn about Cotati's rich music history, counterculture past, how Cotati and Rohnert Park became separate cities, and so much more. Walk begins at 11:30 in La Plaza Park and will last 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Reservations are required and capacity is limited to 20 people, so claim your spot now—or you'll have to wait until 2024. If you can't make the tour, the Cotati Museum (inside Cotati City Hall) is open every Saturday, 1-4 p.m. Always free. Families are welcome. Learn about Cotati's Coast Miwok origins, 19th century rancho days and chicken farming, early clubs and churches, 1920s Indy car racing, and 1960s dragsters.
