Cotati Man Arraigned In Fatal Stabbing Of Group Home Operator
Anderson Quinonez-Cabeza, 18, is scheduled to enter a plea Friday in the fatal stabbing of Sylvia Bracamonte, 33, of Cotati.
SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A Cotati man charged Tuesday in the killing of the owner of a group home where he lived is scheduled to enter a plea Friday in Sonoma County Superior Court.
Anderson Quinonez-Cabeza, 18, was arraigned Tuesday for the fatal stabbing of Sylvia Bracamonte, 33, of Cotati. Quinonez was still inside the group home in the 8000 block of Old Redwood Highway in Cotati when police arrived at around 3:45 p.m. Friday.
A doctor on Friday morning will present the results of an initial competence exam of Quinonez-Cabeza, who is being held under no bail in Sonoma County Jail.

Police from Cotati, Cloverdale, Healdsburg and Rohnert Park were investigating the case alongside the Sonoma County District Attorney's Office.
