Rancho Cotate High's Project Grad is gearing up for much-needed fundraisers this year. Come out and support your local high school today, by stopping by Maverick Car Wash, at 11 Wilford Lane in Cotati, for a good cause.
From organizers: If you are not familiar with Project Graduation, it is a nationwide event also know as Grad Nite and Sober Grad.
We put on a huge party for graduating high school seniors, so that they can celebrate in a safe and sober way. The Rancho Cotate Project Graduation puts on this party for Rancho Cotate, Tech High, Phoenix and El Camino High Schools in Rohnert Park. Our fundraising efforts over the past few years have not been as profitable as we would have liked. We have been forced to reduce our spending last year and will do so again this year. Without the community support for our fundraisers, next year's party will be seriously reduced and we may not be able to have a party for the Class of 2014.
Come out for the car wash — Saturday, Oct. 8 at the Mavrick Car Wash 11 Wilford Lane, Cotati from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., $10 donation requested.
In addition, College Car Wash, located at 930 E. Cotati Avenue, in Cotati, will donate $1 to Project Graduation for every car wash that enters #74120 into their new automatic wash for the months of October and November.
