Volunteer to Clean Up Creeks

Volunteers for the Cotati Creek Critters stewardship day should meet at Gravenstein Way, near Falletti Park in Cotati.

Please join us in planting native trees and shrubs at our new site, alongside the Laguna channel and the bike path from Gravenstein Way to Commerce Blvd. in Cotati.  The Laguna Keepers will be participating as well as SSU students and local neighbors.

Please dress for work and weather with old clothes, in layers, with boots or sturdy shoes, and long pants as protection against mud and blackberry thorns.  We provide gloves and tools.  Please bring your own drinking water bottle and leave valuables at home.

Please check www.CotatiCreekCritters.info for Creek Stewardship Day guidelines, directions and maps, and also for listings of all the dates of future Creek Stewardship Days – first Saturdays and third Sundays - through May 2012.

Directions: Gravenstein Way runs east from the traffic lights on Old Redwood Hwy, just north of Walgreens and the new Peets Coffee which is currently under construction, across from Hwy 116 to Sebastopol.  Drive two blocks east to the bridge over the Laguna channel and you will see us nearby.  Parking is in residential streets so please be considerate of neighbors.   Better still, bicycle if you can!  Look for Cotati Creek Critters signs.
