Got Somethin' to Say? Tell Us in a Letter to the Editor!

Rohnert Park Patch values your opinion, so we're asking for your letters to the editor. We feel strongly that community feedback builds community dialogue and strength.

I've been so excited to see the amount of participation from the community recently, especiall with hot issues around town β€” most recently development of a identifiable downtown Rohnert Park, and attracting new business here to fill our growing commercial vacancies.

People are sharing photographs, writingΒ guest columnsΒ and adding announcements and events to our calendar. Comments that come through are making readers think, and me as well. Thank you for participating.Β I've also heard directly from many of you, with suggestions and feedback about our stories.Β

There's another way you can get involved, though it may not immediately be apparent from the layout of the site. So I wanted to take a moment to extend an invitation to every member of the community to write letters to the editor about issues of concern.

I am more than happy to publish these letters regularly. Not only do letters to the editor provide a valuable platform for a community conversation, many times they can unearth an opinion or point of view that others haven't considered. So, got something to say? Send me your "letter to the editor" or simply write me an email at angela.hart@patch.com and tell me you'd like me to publish it.

All submissions should include your full name and phone number for verification purposes. Again, send them to me at angela.hart@patch.com with the subject line "letter to the editor" or "guest column." You can include relevant photographs with your message if you're so inclined.
