Graton Donates Over 1,000 Meals To Redwood Empire Food Bank
Turkeys and hams donated by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria / Graton Resort & Casino were delivered Monday.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA β The Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria / Graton Resort & Casino on Monday donated enough turkeys and hams to feed more than 1,000 people in need across Sonoma County.
At 8 a.m. Monday morning, Lana Rivera, vice president and general manager of Graton Resort & Casino, and Rawna Heichel, director of Group Sales & Catering at Graton Resort & Casino, delivered 304 turkeys and 304 hams to the Redwood Empire Food Bank in Santa Rosa.
The donation was made just in time for Thanksgiving and marks the third time the two organizations have partnered to help feed Sonoma County residents who may not otherwise have food on their table.

Patch has partnered with Feeding America to help raise awareness on behalf of the millions of Americans facing hunger. Feeding America, which supports 200 food banks across the country, estimates that in 2021, about 42 million Americans may not have enough nutritious food to eat due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
