Graton's Enchanting Dragon Float Shines In SF Parade: Photo Of The Day

The Sonoma County-based Graton team enters a float annually in San Francisco's Chinese New Year parade.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA — Graton Resort & Casino’s float was a hit in this past weekend’s Chinese New Year Parade in downtown San Francisco.

Graton team members waved to the record-breaking crowds from aboard the float which is an an annual entry in the parade by the Rohnert Park-based Graton team.

In celebration of the Year of the Dragon, the Graton Resort & Casino float showcased a magnificent polygon dragon sculpture adorned with vibrant lanterns to illuminate the festivities. The dragon, a symbol of power and good luck, gracefully wound through the float, embodying strength and prosperity.

Surrounding the dragon were clouds symbolizing luck and the auspicious nature of the occasion. The vibrant setting was a testament to the richness of Chinese culture, with the dragon as the focal point conveying resilience while the lanterns and clouds added a touch of whimsical elegance, the Graton team said.
