Highway 116 Road Work Slated Nightly Through Oct. 16

Traffic is reduced to one lane through the project area which is just west of U.S. Highway 101 in Cotati.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Caltrans crews began work this week on a culvert replacement project on State Route 116 in Sonoma County that will reduce the road to one lane of travel overnight this week and next week.

The work is taking place just west of U.S. Highway 101 in Cotati between Redwood Drive and Llano Road. One-way travel under traffic control is in effect, so Caltrans advised motorists to expect delays through Sunday morning, Oct. 16.

Work is scheduled Mondays through Thursdays from 6 p.m. through 6 p.m. the following morning. Work on Fridays is scheduled from 7 p.m. through 8 a.m. the next morning, and on Saturdays, the overnight work is from 8 p.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday.
