SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Overnight full highway closures as well as ramp and lane closures were scheduled from late Friday, Feb. 2, until early morning, Monday, Feb. 5 on state Highway 12 near at U.S. Highway 101 in Santa Rosa as part of a pavement, approach slab and concrete slab replacement project. However, citing inclement weather, Caltrans has canceled this weekend's closures related to the project.

"Even if the rain abates before the weekend, the wet weather in the upcoming days will hinder preparations for the large-scale work of demolishing and pouring concrete slabs," said Jeff Weiss, a spokesperson for Caltrans District 4.

The work will be rescheduled for another weekend, possibly Friday night, Feb. 23, through early morning, Monday, Feb. 26, Weiss said.
