Machete-Wielding Skateboarder Arrested In Santa Rosa: Police
BREAKING: Santa Rosa police say the 19-year-old was allegedly acting aggressively and reportedly made threatening comments to someone.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — Santa Rosa police arrested a Los Angeles man brandishing a machete near the transit mall last week, a police sergeant said. Police said Devin Maurice Johnson, 19, was carrying a 22-inch machete and riding a skateboard and acting aggressively in the 500 block of Second Street around 1 p.m. on Oct. 26, Sgt. Jeneane Kucker said.
Johnson allegedly made threatening comments to a 22-year-old person who then called police. Police found Johnson in the 400 block of Eighth Street and detained him after a short foot pursuit, Kucker said.
Johnson was booked in the Sonoma County Jail on suspicion of making criminal threats, carrying a dirk or dagger, brandishing a deadly weapon in a threatening manner, obstructing a police officer and providing false information to police, Kucker said.
