Man Molested Stepdaughter, Her Friend: Rohnert Park Police
Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety detectives got an arrest warrant and took the 55-year-old Santa Rosa man into custody.

ROHNERT PARK, CA β Rohnert Park Department of Public Safety officers arrested a Santa Rosa man Friday for allegedly molesting his former stepdaughter and her friend. Randall Cover, 55, of Santa Rosa, was arrested on suspicion of two counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child, public safety officials said.
Cover was booked into Sonoma County Jail under $250,000 bail but was not in custody Monday, a jail spokeswoman said.
Cover's former stepdaughter said he had molested her since 2008 when she was 8 years old and he was married to her mother, according to the Department of Public Safety.

The allegations were investigated but there was not enough evidence to make an arrest in 2013, public safety officials said.
Last August, a friend of the stepdaughter said Cover was molesting her at the same time and detectives re-opened the case involving the former stepdaughter, according to the Department of Public Safety.
