Man With Ties To Sonoma County Faces Federal Child Porn Charges

Authorities believe Ricci Lee Wynne may have operated in Rohnert Park and have asked anyone with information to contact the FBI.

ROHNERT PARK, CA — The Rohnert Park Police Department is searching locally for anyone who may have been victimized in 2022 by a San Francisco man with ties to Sonoma County.

Ricci Lee Wynne shown in the photo above, faces federal charges on suspicion of producing pornography of minors engaging in sexually explicit conduct. The 39-year-old has been in federal custody in San Francisco since December and was indicted earlier this month on charges that on April 9, 2022, and Oct. 29, 2022, he employed, used, persuaded, induced, enticed and coerced two minor victims to perform the sexual acts, the Rohnert Department Department of Public Safety said.

The San Francisco District Attorney’s Office has separately charged Wynne with two felony counts of pimping and pandering.

"Wynne has ties to Sonoma County and was known to frequent the area," Rohnert Park DPS said. "The San Francisco Police Department has reason to believe that Wynne may have operated in Rohnert Park."

Authorities said anyone with information relevant to the case should contact the FBI at 415-553-7400 or go to tips.fbi.gov, or the San Francisco Police Department Tip Line at 415-575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text message with SFPD. You may remain anonymous.
