Map: Thousands In Sonoma County Hit By Power Outage

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — More than 4,700 PG&E customers in the Santa Rosa area were impacted Thursday by an unplanned power outage.
The electricity first went out at 12:11 p.m. Thursday and was mostly affecting customers in southern Santa Rosa, west of U.S. Highway 101 along Highway 12.
As of 12:30 p.m., there were 4,734 customers without power and PG&E was en route to the outage.

By 3:20 p.m., there were 85 remaining customers with no power, PG&E Spokesperson Tamar Sarkissian told Patch.
PG&E investigated the incident and determined it was caused by a third party, Sarkissian said.

At 5 p.m., there were still 85 customers impacted and a PG&E repair crew was onsite working to restore power.
PG&E estimated service would be restored to all customers by 11:59 p.m. Thursday.
