BREAKING: A man whose boat was found adrift at Doran Beach has been found safe, the U.S. Coast Guard says.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA — A missing man whose boat was found adrift at Doran Beach in Sonoma County Monday was found safe, a U.S. Coast Guard spokeswoman said. U.S. Customs and Border Protection officials notified the Coast Guard around 10:30 p.m. Monday that Sonoma County resident Justin Greer, 35, was found, Coast Guard Lt. j.g. Emily Olsen said.

The Sea Swirl, Greer's 18-foot vessel, showed signs of recent use and Greer's fishing license was found aboard the vessel Monday morning. He was last heard from Sunday evening, and his truck and boat trailer were found in a parking lot at Doran Beach, according to the Coast Guard.

A 47-foot motor lifeboat crew from Coast Guard Station Bodega Bay and a helicopter crew from Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco searched the area Monday.
