Naked, Masturbating Sonoma County Man Arrested Near Public Park: Police

SONOMA COUNTY, CA -- Police say they arrested a 29-year-old homeless man Monday evening in Santa Rosa after he allegedly masturbated in front of several people at a park, including two teenagers.

Officers arrested Cosbie Marable on suspicion of indecent exposure and lewd acts in public, in addition to violation of parole, according to police.

At 5:46 p.m. on May 15, officers responded to a report of a naked man masturbating at Prince Memorial Greenway, located just south of downtown, near Sonoma and Santa Rosa avenues.

Upon arrival, officers say they saw Marable on the north side of the creek, with no clothes on. Officers say that he was allegedly masturbating in front of people, including pedestrians and bicyclists.

Officers say they spoke with two witnesses, a 14-year-old girl and 16-year-old boy, and that the girl was very upset by the incident.

Marable was arrested and booked into the Sonoma County Main Adult Detention Facility.
