North Bay Side Show Shooting Suspect Sought

Tiari Thompson, 22 of Santa Rosa, is wanted in connected with the May 5 shooting in the 800 block of Sebastopol Road, police said.

SONOMA COUNTY, CA –Authorities have identified the suspect sought in connection with a North Bay side show shooting last month in which at least one person suffered critical injuries, the Santa Rosa Police Department said.

Tiari Thompson, 22 of Santa Rosa, is wanted in connected with the May 5 shooting in the 800 block of Sebastopol Road, police said.

Thompson is described as being 5-foot-7 and weighing 180 pounds and has brown eyes and dark brown hair, according to police.

"The shooting occurred when 200 vehicles took over the streets and conducted illegal and dangerous sideshows," police said in a statement.

Anyone with information about Thompson’s whereabouts is asked to contact the SRPD Tip Line, by calling the SRPD Communications Center (707)528-5222 or by contacting the SRPD Violent Crimes Team at (707) 543-3590.

A reward of up to $2,500 is being offered by the Sonoma County Alliance Community Engagement and Safety Rewards Fund for information leading to Thompson's arrest, police said.

β€œThompson should be considered armed and dangerous, so please contact law enforcement, and do not engage him yourself,” police said.
